Emily Johnson is a wife, artist, graphic designer, mother of two little dogs and a baby girl on the way (due April 2012), and owner of Tickled Ink. Emily graduated with a BA from college, studied a year in Atlanta at a graphic design portfolio school and flew around the world to finish her last year in Auckland, New Zealand. When returning to the US, she worked at an advertising agency, CNN, and magazines as the graphic designer/art director. Emily always had a love for invitations and stationery and she designed for friends and family’s celebrations as a fun creative outlet. In 2009 she married the love of her life and created her own save the dates, wedding invitations, ceremony programs, and stationery for her bridesmaids. She enjoyed creating a custom wedding suite so much that she came up with a business plan and did months of research for starting her own business. Tickled Ink slowly began until Emily was able to quit her full time job and Tickled Ink was officially born in late 2009. Emily gets joy out of getting to know her clients and working one-on-one to create something original that captures their personality and celebration.
