Yes, we love working with clients all over the globe! The online shop is available for you to order from anywhere. If you want a custom order, we can have our complimentary design consultation on the phone, email, or Skype.

HOW DOES THE ORDERING PROCESS WORK?

You can either order online (if you see a design that fits your event), order by phone, or meet in person to discuss your occasion. We will work up a quote for you based on our meeting, and once you have decided on the final quote, we send you the contract to read over and e-sign (sign on the internet), take a full payment, order the custom paper, and begin the design process. Electronic proofs are emailed to you for approval. After the proofs are approved and sent to the printer it can take 4-8 weeks to receive your order (invitations can take longer if it requires assembling or letterpress printing). Rush orders are also available with an additional fee (also depending on the season and how busy we are). Always double check the spelling, fonts, and design of the invitation before approving. Once it is approved by you there are no refunds, and you will have to reorder- so always double check!

CAN WE CHANGE THE COLORS OF A DESIGN FROM THE COLLECTION?

Yes, any fonts and colors can be changed for an additional fee of $25.

WHAT IF WE WANT TO SEE A SAMPLE?

You can order samples for every invitation. Depending on your invitation (paper, printing, custom design) the sample price will vary. For example, if you want to see a pocket fold letterpress invitation, the sample price will be custom to that order.

CAN I ORDER A DESIGN AND PRINT IT FROM HOME?

Many DIY brides and clients may want to save money by printing their own invitations. You can purchase a design or custom design invitation for your event. Please email us for a quote.

HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD WE ORDER?

I always suggest ordering 25 extra invitations in case your guest list increases at the last minute. It is always better to have a little more extra instead of having to re-order which can be costly.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY INVITATIONS AND SAVE THE DATES?

Wedding invitations can be ordered 3-6 months before the event depending on the printing. For custom orders, I will need at least 4 months before the event. I suggest mailing wedding invites 6-10 weeks before your wedding date. If it is a party or rehearsal dinner, it is fine to order 2-3 months before the date and mail them out a month before. You should mail rehearsal invites earlier if you need to have an RSVP by a specific date for the venue. Save the dates need to be mailed out 6 months before the wedding, so you should order them 7-8 months before the wedding.

HOW LONG DOES CUSTOM DESIGN TAKE AND WHAT IS THE PRICE?

As mentioned before, I will need at least 4 months before the event for a custom design. We set up a design consultation and discuss your vision (if you don’t have one, we will help you!). Once a payment is made, we begin the custom design and send you proofs. You can have three small changes (font changes, etc) in the proofs, but after that, each change is $30. If you want to change the entire design, we will need to charge for that time. The cost is determined based on how much is involved with your design (hand drawing, or already designed artwork). The design and production stages takes about 2 months.

CAN I ADD POCKET FOLDS, RIBBONS, AND TISSUES?

Your order can be customized to whatever tickles your fancy (or paper!). We offer all types of paper to layer, pocket folds, envelope liners, and other accessories for an extra fee. Tissue was traditionally used because years ago the printing process would bleed and it would absorb the moisture and keep it clean. Today the tissue is only used for appearance, and although not necessary we can still order it.

WHAT ARE INNER ENVELOPES?

Inner envelopes are traditionally ordered to address the individuals invited to the wedding. On the outer envelope, the names will be the residence (and their wife or family) at the household. However, if some of the children are not invited but live at the residence, this is indicated on the inner envelope. Pocket fold invitations do not have inner envelopes, but we can use a band wrap to write or print the names of the guests invited for the pocket fold.

WILL YOU WORK TO HELP US STAY CLOSE TO OUR BUDGET?

Absolutely- within reason, of course! Please check out our online prices- these are the basic prices for our already created invitation suite. Letterpress, thermography, and engraving are more expensive due to the labor, paper and time involved. Flat printing is a more budget friendly option. Another option is to print the invitations yourself, and we can sell you the design. If budget is your main concern, please discuss this with us before your consultation so that we can show you more affordable options. Keep in mind that adding pocket folds, backers, and other embellishments (such as custom design) adds to the total cost.

DO YOU OFFER CALLIGRAPHY?

We don’t do hand calligraphy ourselves, but we can refer you to a hand calligrapher and will deliver and pick them up for you with a small service fee. If you want to deliver them yourself, you can certainly do that! We also offer computerized calligraphy for envelope addressing. The prices are $2.00 per envelope which includes the set up fee. If you want matching colored ink there is a $25 fee, black ink has not extra charge.

I LIKE AN INVITATION FROM YOUR COLLECTION, BUT CAN I ALTER THE DESIGN?

You can change the design and the colors, fonts, etc of any invitation. There will be a small charge for this, depending on how much is altered (and whether you are adding a new design element to it).
